As for a dictionary, it is not perfect for me. I couldnt understand some definitions, especially a proper noun. However, interfaces such as word conjugate, phrases are very useful and easy looks. I like it.

A great reference tool for borh beginners and advanced learners

I found this app very convenient and quick-performance one. Choose it for everyday using to develop my spanish. I like much that I dont need to switch every time between languages, cause they both are at one list. Conjugations of verbs are all there. Quite good dictionary with a lot of cross-links. But it contains no slang. App may pronounce both languages when you online but it doesnt contain phonetic transcription of words. Overall I enjoy this app.

Pro: Works off line. I can look up a conjugated form and it takes me back to the root verb. Faster than the other dictionary I use. Also gives English conjugations. Con: Doesnt conjugate the imperative. I am not very advanced in my learning but even so fairly often I find myself wanting words that arent here.

Literally without this app I would have failed. It is missing some words and could use more specific translations, but over all it is an excellent dictionary

I have bought multiple versions of your app in a variety of languages that I study. I LOVE it! I have tried many apps — but I LOVE the consistent format you bring to these apps in the various languages. The BEST part — it is all beautifully linked. You type in the word you are looking for, and the app automatically finds definitions in whatever language you typed (without having to change the language, as most other apps require). Also, the VERB conjugations are wonderful! You look up a verb — click on "conjugate" in the upper right — and you instantly have access to ALL conjugations in all tenses of that verb. NO other app I have tried comes close to convenience for rapidity of verb conjugations (and I have tried MANY other apps). This dictionary is not as good for longer translations (I use another app for that ... ) — but for everything else, it is the best iphone/ipad app I have found for very fast and accurate translations and verb conjugation review. Thank you! NOTE #1 — The non-paid versions are inferior. But the adds go away and the dictionary greatly expands if you get the paid apps (well worth the money!). NOTE #2 — Someone mentioned they had trouble hearing the words. I did to until I shut off "Go on-line for better quality" — after which I heard the voices well. The "slow" speed is still a bit fast, but understandable.

I like this app. It has a lot of information you need to improve your Spanish. I enjoy most is the verb conjugation with pronunciation.

I especially like being able to enter various verb forms and find the infinitive.

Overall a good pocket translator. however, the reason im knocking off a star is because theres no bookmarking (saving/starring/favoriting) of looked up words.

This was really handy on my trip. I speak a little Spanish, but this was great for looking up words I didnt know. Other folks in my group would ask me to look up words too! It was handy and easy to use.

This is a quick way to look up a word and also see how that word can be used.

Im a Spanish major and I find this review super helpful for on the go, and I generally find myself using this more that I ever did my physical dictionary because its so easy and convenient.

I bought the premium version and was initially frustrated because I couldnt hear the pronunciation of the word, but Customer Service did respond promptly and told me what setting to turn off. I am very happy as a Beginner Spanish student.

Good app. Main problem is the app automatically lowers your sound. If youre listening to music in the background, forget about it. The app lowers the sound into background noise. I emailed the creators; they gave me a mediocre excuse that I wouldnt be able to hear the language audio if the app did not do this. I dont use the language audio often so the smug and dismissive reply wasnt helpful. Volume control should be an option of the user. Most other language apps have already figured this out.

Having recently married a Puerto Rican, Ive been relearning Spanish after 40 years. This app has come to the rescue many times as Ive gotten stuck while conversing with my Spanish-speaking in-laws. Love the portability and easy accessibility.

Has saved my butt on many occasions while talking to patients.
