…but this morning, I find a charge on my card. Dishonest…do not load app. $9.99 is a hefty charge..There was no subscription!!!!!! Nowhere was a charge even suggested!!! Supposed to be free! I did not order ANY in-app items , but was still charged $9.99!

I can't even study saved vocabulary by using the flash cards. All of the flash cards are just random and there's no option to study what you want to focus on and for $9.99 I would expect that to be an option. Especially when there are other apps for a lower price that can do way more than this application. Pretty disappointed with the app at first, then they decided to remove features you previously paid for and expect you to pay again. Would not recommend this app to anyone.

Two big problems in using: It includes every conjugation in the word list, so it’s impossible to find the noun that you almost recall (except for the ending), but it’s lost among four dozen of the same verb. There’s not an easy way to clear the dictionary search field, so you have to do a cumbersome process of going back to the search screen, and then click on a tiny X hidden next to a much bigger icon button

When I travel in Spanish speaking countries or read websites in Spanish, this app is my constant companion. It rarely lacks a word I need. I like the popular phrases section, which is well-organized. Everything I need and no distracting trivialities or fluff. Recommend highly!

I purchased the translate app from this company 12 years ago and have been very happy with utility and effectiveness of the app. When I had a issue with getting adds based on their new subscription model for that app, I emailed their customer service and they were able to promptly help me and issue a great solution to my issues. I was very happy to get in touch with a human and not be routed through the maze of answering machines and automated phone systems that plague customer service lines today! I definitely recommend this app to anyone who is interested in Spanish at all!

This app does the job. It’s easy to look up words, whether Spanish or English. A nice feature is that the conjugations of all verbs are included.

I had been carrying stacks of books from the library looking for ways to improve my learning activities in Spanish. After downloading this app I have returned all the books back to the library and can pretty much use it as my standard for referencing and finding words. But not just words the app also supplies phrases commonly used and a very handy flash card feature allowing one to select specific words you need to review. All in all an excellent program highly recommended especially for a beginning Spanish student.

The app has a large amount of words. It is very helpful for me as I learn Spanish. I strongly recommend it.

Currently in an immersion class in Mexico for Spanish learning and my husband and I use this dictionary almost daily. Wish it had a no adds option though.

A very useful app which I use quite often. If the dictionary was larger, covering more words it would receive a five star rating. I have paid versions and find the pop up ads annoying.

This off-line dictionary is excellent with online reference (usually to Wikipedia) for unusual local or slang words not included in the offline section. The support is excellent. I did find for my uses that I required the plus version which has a larger dictionary than the free version. For many people the free version will probably be quite adequate. I use both the Spanish and the French versions which I find equally useful. I have found no other off-line language dictionary to come anywhere close to the usefulness of these.

I love this free app. It’s very easy to use and very effective. I love to play the multiple choice word quiz when I don’t have anything to do.

I have been struggling with Spanish for about three years - lots of aps, books and one class. I turn to this reference ap more than any other. Also, my bilingual daughter picked it up after I showed it to her last week

One of the best I've found! This Spanish/English dictionary is more than awesome! I use it all the time to look up words and remind myself of irregular conjugations. Offline it is so helpful. I used it all the time in Ecuador when Internet (to look up words) was very spotty. It’s rare that I look up a word that’s not included in the app. The examples of ways to use the words are also very helpful. I wish I could highlight a word in the kindle app (or something online) and send it to the app to look it up and add it to flash cards. The quiz section of the app could also be improved. It has a lot of obscure words that are not common in either language. Overall an amazing app. I recommend it to everyone learning Spanish

I use this app at least 10-20 times a day. Very thorough. I love the upgrade as it gives different uses for the word. I only wish the verb conjugator gave the English translations.

Good to begin

The dictionary is alright but the pop up ads are a real nuisance. Some of them will not disappear and interrupt the use.

I love this app! It has an incredible selection of translations. I rarely can’t find a word I need. It also includes the many different translations for the various meanings we assign a word in English. It can translate phrases and conjugate verbs. I speak fairly fluent Spanish but still find this app invaluable. I highly recommend it!

I found the free app useful enough to purchase the paid app.

Really good dictionary

This is by far the most useful and comprehensive language app available. I use it all the time. Marc continues to improve this app and I very much appreciate his efforts.

I like this app a lot. Use it in class and at home. I like the fact that it is downloaded on my phone and iPad so I can use it even when not connected to internet. Occasionally I do have to look for words on WR but most of the time this app does the job. And now the app links directly to WR so I can look up almost anything immediately. Super app

I like the way this app is organized to help readers quickly find the words they want. I would like it to be more comprehensive but it’s a simple app. Simple is good.

Great app but there was a translation feature that was here before that was a magnificent addition. Please bring it back.
